Shinseikai is a group dedicated to the exploration of the "hand" (TEE), the root of karate, and the preservation and promotion of traditional karate kata through practice. We conduct training with a focus on understanding the meaning of the external forms of the kata without ambiguity. We delve into why a particular shape is necessary and why a specific trajectory is followed, striving to comprehend the significance of each aspect of the kata during our practice sessions. Through this type of kata training, we aim to cultivate a unique internal sensation referred to as "Naikei" or "inner form." By developing this internal awareness, we seek to acquire the "Zero Power," a distinctive principle of "hand" (TEE) techniques that requires minimal muscular effort. Our approach emphasizes the cultivation of the "inner form" not merely from a martial arts perspective but as a form of body culture. We welcome those who appreciate the internal sensations nurtured through kata training from a broader perspective, beyond the scope of combat.

Seminar Announcement in Osaka

In this seminar, we will delve into the key points of creating the outer form of Sanchin and Naifanchin, exploring the internal sensations through hands-on experience. We aim for precise kata performance by explaining the meaning of each movement in the kata. Supplementary exercises will be conducted to verify essential elements, such as the insertion of the shoulders, with a focus on ensuring the correct rotation of the arms and positioning of the head. Additionally, we will practice seated techniques in alignment with kata formation. Through repetitive reception of seated techniques, participants will experience clues to unity within the body as an internal sensation. We will also introduce supplementary exercises and points for continuous self-verification during individual practice to ensure the kata's correctness.

This seminar exclusively focuses on kata formation, omitting activities like sparring, making it open to participants of all ages, genders, and experience levels.

We look forward to welcoming those interested in the development of physical techniques through ancient kata.
